Madison Shepard is a Los Angeles based writer, actor, producer, and stand-up comedian.

In 2020, she was on the creative team for the 72nd Primetime Emmy’s. She has also written for seasons 4 & 5 of Netflix’s The Circle with Michelle Buteau, Roku Original’s Roku Recommends with Maria Menounos and Andrew Hawkins for seasons 1, 2, & the 2021 year-end special, Amazon/Fox’s Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity with Travis Kelci, season 1 of the syndicated CBS game show The Perfect Line with Deborah Norville, and season 7 of ABC’s Press Your Luck with Elizabeth Banks.

Madison has opened for Maria Bamford, Zainab Johnson, and Dulcé Sloan. Her standup was featured on WhoHaha, Funny or Die, and Buzzfeed. She can be seen in Comedy Central’s The New Negroes, HBO’s Barry, and she recurred as Gail the probation officer on Freeform’s series Single Drunk Female. She has also extensively performed in classical theater all over Los Angeles in Twelfth Night, Three Sisters, Dido Queen of Carthage, The Tempest, Henry IV (I & II), and many more with The Downtown Rep and Independent Shakespeare Company.

Madison released her debut stand-up comedy EP “Goodnight Silverlake Lounge” in November 2019.

She studied acting at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, in London. Madison is currently studying at John Rosenfeld Studios.

 

Decider said she was a “Sleeper Star” of Single Drunk Female.

Comedy Central called her a “Comic to watch”.

Screen Rant said she “always serves laughs and hilarity when she's on screen.”
